About the Garden Club of Orange Park, Inc.
The Garden Club of Orange Park, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Florida nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring a love of gardening, promoting environmental stewardship, and enhancing the beauty of our community.
Our mission includes conserving natural resources, protecting and maintaining a healthy and attractive environment, encouraging civic beautification, supporting youth gardening initiatives, and improving public spaces. Through educational programs, community projects, and volunteer opportunities, we strive to make a lasting, positive impact on the place we call home.
The club meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the Garden Club Center, unless otherwise noted in the annual program schedule.

Monthly Programs
We offer engaging monthly programs that provide education and inspiration on a variety of topics, including gardening techniques, floral design, growing fruits and vegetables, houseplant care, environmental stewardship, and more. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener, there's always something new to learn and enjoy.

Horticultural Program
Join us for our annual Horticulture Program, featuring expert guest speakers covering a variety of gardening topics. Enjoy raffles, shop for plants and unique treasures, and discover new ideas and inspiration for your garden and home.

Plant Sales
We host several plant sales throughout the year in conjunction with community events, offering a diverse selection of plants lovingly grown and nurtured by our members. These sales provide an opportunity to enhance your garden while supporting the Garden Club's programs, projects, and community outreach efforts.

Youth Program
We partner with parents, teachers, and school communities to create and maintain beautiful outdoor learning spaces while inspiring children to develop an appreciation for plants, nature, and gardening. Through hands-on educational activities and garden projects, we help cultivate environmental awareness and a lifelong love of the natural world. We currently support youth gardening programs at Doctors Inlet Elementary School and Orange Park Elementary School.

Community Outreach
Giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do. Our members actively participate in a variety of beautification, conservation, and service projects, including the Carrie Clarke House Beautification Project, the Orange Park Library Planter Beautification Project, and Habitat for Humanity initiatives, among others.
In addition, members of our Arrangers Guild honor local veterans each year by creating fresh floral wreaths that are donated for the Veterans Day Ceremony at Magnolia Cemetery. Through these efforts and many others, we strive to enhance the beauty of our community, support meaningful causes, and make a lasting difference.

Wreaths Across America
We proudly support Wreaths Across America through both financial contributions and volunteer service. Each December, our members volunteer at Jacksonville Memory Gardens on Wreaths Across America Day, helping honor and remember our nation's veterans.
In addition, we support the dedicated volunteers who prepare Magnolia Cemetery for this special event by providing refreshments and snacks during cemetery cleanup efforts. Through these activities, we help ensure that those who served our country are remembered with dignity, gratitude, and respect.
